The giant cross at Groom is the centerpiece of an extensive group of religious sculpture just off of Interstate 40, west of the Ranch Road 295 exit.

Erected in 1995, the cross itself is 190 feet in height, and thus is visible from quite a distance, even without making any effort at approaching it.

Nearby are several bronze sculptures depicting the various "stations of the cross." The complex also includes a gift shop and rest rooms.
