All of the rooms at the Silver Moon Lodge have been carefully crafted and remodeled to retain the feel of Route 66's heyday yet offer features expected only at high-end hotels. Oversized rooms, in-room coffee service, irons with full size ironing boards, 25" color televisions with cable and internet access via data port are just some of the amenities that await our guests. Upgraded bedding and towels, retro tiled bathrooms and triple sheeted beds are all standard fare the Silver Moon.
For many years, Route 66 travelers knew the Silver Moon as the Desert Inn Tourist Hotel. Below is a photograph from that era:
