|Vintage postcard showcasing the town of McLean|
McLean, Texas is the home of the Old Route 66 Association of Texas, and a terrific Route 66 museum run by the association. There is also a very early cottage-style Phillips 66 gasoline station dating from the 1920s which has been partially restored.
The postcard pictured at left (circa 1940) spotlights the town's business district, grade school, high school, and city park.
