RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. - How does this sound? A moonlight drive on old Route 66.

It's not a fantasy. It's real. It's happening Nov. 17.

Sign up now for the Route 66 Saturday Nite Cruise, as it's being called. It's a self-guided auto tour of Mother Road landmarks starting at the newly lighted Foothill Bridge in Rancho Cucamonga.

It takes place on Saturday night, Nov. 17. Reservation deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 14.

The event, starting at 5 p.m., is sponsored by Visit San Bernardino County, formerly the San Bernardino County Tourism Development Council.
